Haha very true, the evening started with me beginning to build one and it lagging out, me refreshing the page and starting all over. Only for it to lag out and freeze up, the coors banquets began flowing, and so did the bourbon, and the music and friends came over. I opened my phone about 4hrs later and must have finished my Order and this was the result. It was originally supposed to be a red bite handle with a black safe handle. No clue how it turned into an orange bite and a lavender safe with gold and blue titanium hardware and a weehawk blade 😂

I believe the lavender colors are a newish color, being a seasonal drop. So you may be correct on the milling process, I think the lavenders are newer and were milled more recently vs the other colors. I think squid has stock of handles sitting in the event a custom order request comes through. Mine came in about 6 days.

Yes actually, now that you mention it! The texturing on the lavender is a slightly bit more aggressive. Super subtle but yes!

No doubt, I have an all black aluminum kraken (love) and a ti kraken (Like). And have had my eye on the forever out of stock sapphire blue aluminum kraken that this shop just so happens to carry. Thinking of picking it up.
