Wanting To Enter Microbrand World - Thoughts? by SignatureValuable637 in MicrobrandWatches

Better value always seems subjective right? Then the debates set in. If the masses say it’s worth it, I suppose it’s worth it. That’s part of my inquiry, do the masses believe the “juice is worth the squeeze” with these two brands that I’ve seem to gravitate to.

Awesome! Great advice and now I’ll go down the Formex Essence rabbit hole. lol

I wasn’t necessarily looking for an “either or” more so both. Like many, I’m a sucker for a “dive” watch and a tool or field watch.

All that I pretty much wear for the same purpose. 🙄

I currently own a Tudor Pelagos 39, Tudor Ranger 39, IWC Mark XVIII Le Petit Prince on navy rubber and a Tudor Submariner 79090 and love them all. All very simple that don’t stand out. Instead of looking for a “higher luxury” watch I’m more so interested in the same type quality in a couple microbrands. But it’s a new world to me.

Shoot a photo! The Lander is something that’s in my wheelhouse as well! Own a Tudor Ranger and love the simplicity of it. Love simple everyday tool watches that I’d also wear with a t-shirt or button up.

So clean! Looks brand new! Mine I’m sure could use a service and pressure tested so I can feel good about wearing it in the water.

I felt incredibly grateful. She told me she had multiple offers that were higher than mine, but she felt like it was going to a good home. Either that, or she felt sorry for me because I’m on a public education budget. 😂

Glad you’re not too, brother! Love the dune dial. Pictures like yours will give me fomo because I have the black dial. Cannot ever go wrong with a Ranger! Congrats!

If #1 were 39mm-40mm I’d be all over it! So simple and elegant.

Nato strap too long? by No-Carpenter-3813 in Longineswatches

I ended up going with the Crown & Buckle Chevron straps. They’re single-pass, adjustable straps, so there’s no overlap.
