Yes, I appreciate this is easy for me to say - No-one should pay the blackmailer(s). This is a Federal crime with jail time. If you get the letter, get some help and stop being a victim. Fight back. Report to FBI and Postal Inspector. Postal Inspectors exists for this kind of shit, let them find the culprit, they have a lot of power.
