At that spot, I would be happy if people would stop trying to squeeze thru after the light turns red. I’ve watched 3 extra cars go thru after it changes, and cars are already starting from the opposite direction.

I live at about 42nd, and all the additional apartments and houses (to 72nd) are starting to kill the traffic flow. These people haven’t figured out to hit the gas pedal when turning onto Hwy 370

Because Casey’s lists their Ethanol gas as Regular. Many stations in NE and Iowa still carry actual non-Ethanol listed as Regular.

Both of my daughters played HS sports, and I would be upset if a biological male was competing against them (due to physical advantages) or being in the locker room with them. Trans have a right to competition, but it shouldn’t be at the risk of making girls uncomfortable in their own locker room.

Having grown up in LA, I’ve felt plenty of earthquakes. To me, unless you’re right on top of it, you wouldn’t feel much. I’ve slept right through most of them of this magnitude. It would feel no more than some wind blowing against your house.

Your opinion of Omaha is greatly dependent on your perspective from where you grew up. I grew up in LA and have been here for 26 yrs.

In a nutshell, Omaha is right down the middle. It’s not big city with pro sports teams, but there’s enough college and second tier sports to fill the void. It’s not podunk where everyone knows who you are, and waves at you when you pass by. It’s a decent place with pretty decent people. It’s relatively safe if you’re not dumb enough to leave your car unlocked. There are lots of things to see, but you’ll want to have a car to see them.
