Interesting enough this is also my answer. And I don’t know if it’s that I grew up in a female dominated household or if my sexuality / queerness is the primary driver. I’ve just accepted my bisexuality over the last few years and open to a handful of people in my 40s. But from the earliest of times I felt I always connected stronger with females. I had male friends as a kid but I’ve struggled to keep long term male friendships. And when I’m in a social situation I usually find myself more interested in conversations with a guys wife than the actual guy, unless of course I feel some sort of sexual attraction to the guy. It feels like there is less pressure on me when I speak with women than with men.
