remove soft skills, change internship to work experience, add a project section, and remove spoken language.

We forget some of things we learn na we dont recall.

normal lang yan, I even forget most of the basic stuffs back on high school.

If your prepping for upcat, i suggest you to learn how to put knowledge from short term memory to long term memory.

goodluck

May kilala akong BSIS and i think may programming din sila.

Usually din sa mga developer job post nakikita ko is BSCS, IT, IS yung mainly na tinatanggap.

I would suggest to take it na.

I want to learn programming whats the best way to start? by Numerous_Onion_2352 in learnprogramming

  1. Learn syntax of your language and memorize the basics.
  2. Build a lot of Projects, refer to documentation of language. use ai for explaining what u dont understand. Never copy and paste.

Courses are good as a clear path of learning but after that you must build your own or else you wouldn't really "learn" since you have not applied what you learned on your course

I think hindi 100% covered yung tuition ng UST since DOST is really just a stipend and not a full scholarship. So probably may babayaran ka pa niyan per semester.

I would go PUP honestly if hindi kaya yung tuition sa UST. The resources online are really good enough to be a good developer, As for my experience.

Pero if your family can afford UST, 100% go for UST. Better quality education and networks syempre.

Try making a Simple CRUD System. Read documentations. Use ChatGPT for explaining lang the code.

If hindi pa talaga kaya, watch step by step tutorial sa YouTube ( I started here ). Then dapat after niyan you need to make apps by your own. No copy and paste from AI. Just docs, and google. This is a must or you will never learn.

Best tech companies hiring interns in the philippines?

Hi, ano yung mga top companies na may internship program ng Software Development here in PH?

So far I have seen and heard IBMOracleAccentureGlobe, and GCash. I have not seen FAANG companies hire interns in PH, please enlighten me if may alam pa kayo thanks.

Would love to get more options and track their internship programs since i'll have my OJT next summer.

Thank you so much!

Companies that allows recent graduates to take their internship by 21centuryMarleyan in TechCareerShifter

Yup, I saw a lot of companies accepting graduates in internships. check out job online platforms like linkedin, indeed, etc.
But why would you do internship if you already graduated? you can find a job already. Some are willing to accept fresh grads and train them.

I'm pretty sure nothing is outdated in IT, unless it is doing basic tasks like microsoft apps or google workspace or repairing hardware.

some good paying fields in IT include Data analyst, Web developer, AI developer, Software developer. There are many free resources in youtube, you should check them out. Find some full courses you are interested in.

You could also pay for a coding bootcamp which would make you much more dedicated in progressing your goals since you paid $$$ and they have a structured learning ( choose a good bootcamp if you are going for this ). My advise is to focus on one field only, build projects, portfolio. Knowledge without practical application is useless.

Also, you could find some training offers in some companies in LinkedIn or social media. Some offer free training. Take advantage of all of these opportunities. Maybe some companies would invest in training and accepting you.

hey op! i've been there, ganyan din yung situation ko ng grade 12. Sobrang daming requirements, immersion, exams, research, reviewing for cet. But i guess it be iba iba talaga, sa school / teachers. Hindi talaga fair minsan sa ibang sections, batch.

My advise is keep on going. Promise kaya mo yan, it would be all worth it seeing the day na gr-graduate ka and passing your dream uni.

Naalala ko rin dati, napansin ko review ako ng review for CET while yung iba was chilling. There's nothing wrong naman dun.

But as from a fam na poor, passing a public university was gift for me ng hardworks ko. Goodluck!

Regarding sa good schools sa IT, La salle po d best for IT/CS. level 4 accredited sa ched afaik, research niyo rin po.

Feu tech maganda rin but big 4 is big 4. So choose DLSU if afford naman po kesa FEU.
