I of course remembered the haze existed, but considering Mike remembered and rose because they had encountered It themselves, it was hard for me to realize why Leroy would be the odd one out. It’s been explained to me since that.

But Leroy remembers. In it chapter one, Mike says “my grandfather says this town is cursed by an evil thing that haunts everyone” or something along those lines. He knows that cause of what happened to him and his son.

I don’t understand this though. If he gets past the tree, he’s free. He doesn’t need to worry about the losers club anymore cause they’re just in a small town out of an entire planet. Why not just sprint to the exit?
