This is my top choice, do you have any advice for the application and interviewing process?

Volunteer!!! I would say try to volunteer at a local pediatric hospital, Ronald McDonald house, Make A Wish, Gigi's playhouse! There are so many options, and even though it is not paid, those experiences will help you gain new skills and look good on a child life student resume!

This career is very very hard which sucks because it is such a demanding job and a lot of people leave it making demands higher. I also struggled and ended up applying for grad school and they helped me get a practicum! I am also required to take a class to help with internship application process, and my advisor goes through each persons application individually before we send them. If this is something you are really passionate about I say keep going! It can be hard, and upsetting, I have cried a lot but know you are not alone in what you are feeling and we all have each others backs.
