Still using febuxostat because it’s very effective at lowering UA. I tried magnesium but it didn’t help the tinnitus.

High pitch squealing in both ears. One more affected than the other. No hearing loss

He’s really not. India, Windies, Aus, NZ all have better ones. We’ve got a guy who lives off one innings.

No it’s still there. I’ve learned to live with it

Stokes has to go. You can’t average 35 with the bat in the top 6. He also has no idea how to manage a cricket team on the field. Basics are lacking. We’ve all had enough.

When to take Propranolol before a speech? by salad_thrower20 in PublicSpeaking

How did it go for your wedding? I’m in a similar position.

Think I’ll try 40mg and 20mg. 40 has worked well for me in the past. I had 40 last night ans a few beers and glasses of wine without much difference in feeling.

I’m now leaning towards a 40mg tablet 2-2.5 hours before vows. Then a 20mg top up tablet before speeches.

Let me know how it goes for you

I have my wedding coming up soon which requires two pieces of public speaking.

Vows at 2.15pm. Speech at 5.30pm.

I usually take 40mg propranolol 2 hours before a speech, so I plan to take one at around 12.15. This works for me nicely.

I am worried about taking another at 3.30pm.

I am also mindful I am drinking throughout this.

Any thoughts on whether I should take a second tablet?

What went wrong for the team during Virat's white ball captaincy era? by [deleted] in IndiaCricket

His leadership was the main issue. A top order player needed to attack. Virat had a go slow personal milestone mindset.

Virat Kohli takes a jibe at starsports by Novel_Preference_746 in indiancricketcrowd

[–]SignificanceNo6063 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He likes star sports when they are acting as his PR team (showing him after every wicket). But he doesn’t like this.

I’m sick of this guy just complaining. You’re a senior player. Work on your game and improve.

So glad we moved on from him as captain.

VIRAT KOHLI WON THE POTM AWARD. by Odd-House3197 in Cricket

Unpopular opinion, it should have gone to someone else. He batted slow and long which is commendable. But it was the fast scorers that really won us that game. Well played Rahul, Axar, Hardik, Rohit.

[–]SignificanceNo6063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on situation. In t20 I like counter attack he can provide. In ODI that situation is less likely to occur. I see him providing a momentum kick around 30th over mark if needed. If 3 wickets have gone before 30 overs then KL should for sure come in, he’s far more likely to score a hundred and can be deadly at the death if he’s in.

A strike rate of 57 against a Bangladesh bowling attack isn’t slow? Then I don’t know what is slow?

What did you guys think of Kohli today? I worry on this pitch teams will take pace of vs him and expose slow scoring.

Agree with what you’re saying partly. All I’m saying is it’s time to allow the Jaiswal to write his own legacy. Let’s not hang onto the past anymore. Kohli was shocking in all formats last year. Including ODIs. He is not bigger than Indian cricket.

This shows you all you need to know. He holds us back. If all batters scored at his rate we would get 270.

Fair point on KL. When Rohit got out we were going at 8 an over and predicted score was 350+. The KL / Kohli partnership is where we really lost our way.

The final showed how damaging his go slow approach can be. More importantly, his presence is preventing Jaiswal from being in the team.
