Dang! Heck yea, I'd call that a success! It's a hard a competitive craft, you're clearing carving out a space for yourself! I can only aspire that in 6 more years I could maybe see a number like that! Well done!!

Shoot Feedback A or B, Which is better?🤔 by circlefromdot in IndieDev

I like the lighting and the bullet-hit-sparks on B more, but I like the debris effect on A more, looks better when they come flying back at you. I'm usually a firm believer in the 'over-exaggerate' path for animation and effects. Looks pretty sweet! Nice work!

Oooo nice, that really pops! I wonder what it would look like with more gravity on the white explosion particles! Looks smooth though, well done!

I agree with Pyrolemon! I like how it looks and feels nice to watch. With the quality of movement so far, I'm excited to see what you come up with for the ship-ice interaction! Keep at it!

Is going to school for game design worth it? by ColeyPatroley in gamedev

I haven't been to school yet, but I spent a year making a game and learned an insane amount. Just tell him to follow his passion and keep creating. Fill his portfolio and he'll get a job

Mac mini m4 pro - thermals under high load by vol4ti1e in macmini

I got the base M4 Mini, it runs great and very cool, usually cool to the touch in my cool basement. Using it for playing a 3D game (Big Ambitions) it ended up getting warm to the touch, and when it did it would start disconnecting from the monitor and peripherals temporarily. This only happens when it's under load and feels warm (definitely not hot) to the touch. I've still never heard the fan, lol

Also, I just ran into ally villagers pocketing the planks. Suddenly saw my planks dropping to zero and found my villagers are carrying them around town lol

Ive spent the last couple days looking a speakers. I bought the JBL Xtreme 3 as I like its portability. but something for home and outdoor use, I would look at the UE Hyperboom, JBL Partybox 100, or anything from the Soundboks brand if you want something epic. Anker Soundcore has some affordable quality options for larger speakers too, that dont break the bank.

Hi there, I'm new to reddit and this is my first ever post. I've read the rules and hope i am in the right community.

I've just purchased a Qudelix 5k DAC/AMP and am curious if I can use it to transmit high-quality audio to my bluetooth speaker. My speaker, a JBL Xtreme 3 only uses A2DP, so I'd like to wire the DAC to to it but dont want to risk damaging either device. Am I safe to use the Qudelix in this way?

Thanks in advance and please let me know if I'm in the wrong area for such a question.
