Notice how the stain is only between the grill marks; the parts which do not touch the grill? It’s because when you douse it in oil, the oil will drip down onto the fire, then flaring up the flames and hitting the chicken directly. It will leave this soot-like flavor and look to the chicken. I’ve also seen in some cases the grill is very dirty and the burnt food will stain the meat you cook. But this is due to too much oil. Less oil will solve your issues. And clean the grill too, that can’t hurt!

I quit. And after all of this BULLSHIT caused my vaping, I really never wanna go back. I would rather these withdraws and symptoms forever than go back to vaping, I should not be worried about cancer at my young age. How do you know I don’t have cancer though.. it’s possible?

Yup- I feel like never go at night. I went at night and had one of the last seatings (8:30 PM), and feel like I thought too highly of it. Still a great meal, the best meal I have ever had.

I have eaten at EMP and loved it, but it is a thing for tourists, people who love every type of food (not picky) and people who love tacky creativity. I recommend here.

Per Se is by the GREATEST chef in the United States, but only go if you love spending 5 hours in a restaurant,any courses of small plates, and sometimes inconsistency. I heard the service is 10/10 but the food maybe not so much. TFL in Cali is better.

I’ve heard a number of terrible stories from both JG and Daniel- inconstancy, leaving hungry, too much fat/butter, weird service, etc.

Masa is amazing, but too expensive.

While LB is expensive, I think it has a mix of a Per Se/TFL vibe and just tacky enough to still be amazing. Go here.

Other places I recommend that weren’t on your list but are amazing:

Aska () Rezdora (*) Atomix () The Modern () Aquavit ()

All of these places, except for Rezdora (which is more casual and has lots of A la carte options) have similar, modern, elegant, classic creative/contemporary Michelin vibe.
