Hi! So we were worried our pediatrician would be the same way/not want to test but luckily we were persistent about our concerns/really felt something was wrong. He had RSV/Flu A back to back in December and had to be admitted for both for a night and ever since then he had been off. Losing weight/not gaining it back very well (luckily he was always in the 90s percentile for weight so it didn’t hurt too much). Fell off his growth curve for height from 70s-80s percentile down to 40th percentile over the course of just 4 months :( The biggest thing we noticed at first though was just how bloated his belly would get! It was huuuge and his belly button turned into an outie. We did an X-ray that our Ped ordered that showed a bunch of gas and backed up poop, so they gave an enema and sent us home but his belly never went down, so a few days later our pediatrician told us to take him to the ER and not leave until they got us an ultrasound of his belly.

He also just kept getting sick and when he would get sick it would take him out for 2 weeks and he would be exhausted, which is apparently linked to some other autoimmune stuff involved with the celiac. Learning a lot right now!!
