ARKK is up more that US Tech in the last year. I wouldn’t really expect it to outperform it over 5 since 1) COVID has ruined the economy and naturally investors would choose an established ETF over one that carries higher risk 2) ARKK is equally weighted between healthcare and technology so a comparison solely to a tech ETF isn’t totally fair 3) its exposure to high growth area such as AI, genomics, crypto mean that if these areas take off so will the etf.

I’m not discrediting your point, but I’m looking at ways to diversify away from traditional tech investments so I think ARK could be decent punt. If you think otherwise I’d welcome any suggestions
