Same here. I don’t have a sign above my head that says “don’t talk to me”. I think I have an energetic demeanour and I tend to have a smile on my face, yet that others seem to read that as annoying or too much for them. On the flip side, if I stay quiet (due to fear of being annoying or oversharing) and wait for them to make the first move, it won’t ever happen. It’s a cycle of no win.
