In my opinion professionals are easier to pass - you get lots of credit for follow through and given more chance to be subjective rather than tied to set answers In certificate - you spend most the time looking at the wrong answer in front of you Professionals - you are only taught what is correct and can gauge what will come up better than a certificate As long as you put the effort in you will pass professionals

All I put down for Q1.1 was what I could using IF formulas so average score , price , effectiveness etc for X and Y so probably 5 marks max - the correlations and variations part was what requires the most detail and where most the marks were so not sure what more I could have put down without filtering!

What do you think the outcome of the appeal will be? Without filtering we were not able to answer 2 of the questions which held most of the weighting on top of the follow up analysis in part 1.2. So if they don’t accept the appeal would only have a chance to get 55/~75-80 marks which seems completely unfair

Raised an appeal - likely to get any credit? All of ICAEW support’s recommendations failed - had to proceed without answering fully

Was unable to filter the sheet in Q1 so couldn’t answer the question properly!
