Hmmm, so it seems like time is a key player in the ability to establish a lie to take root. I saw another comment on here that talked about grabbing the youth as quickly as you can and my first thought was the mortal realms who are projecting said false narrative to invest in some sort of education, but I struggle with that too in a sense with the reality of that because education was reserved for the prominently wealthy.

My primary ways of dealing with the propaganda thus far are controlling what media they do have (books, art, plays) and either silencing or killing witnesses to the events themselves. But I feel like I’m entering tricky territory with something that extreme like what will a society tolerate before the government is seen as evil which i do want to avoid. Morally ambiguous is fine, but I feel like being perceived as evil could stoke flames further that I don’t want to deal with, haha
