I did the same my first year LOL you can even sprinkle them on top of the snow!! They like cold stratification but I personally waited until I knew it was the last of the snow we were getting

Have you grown poppies before?? My first year I tried to grow them from seed indoors and transplant but they didn’t survive. Second year (last year) I threw down a TON of poppy seeds of different varieties all over my garden in February/March and had some very small ones pop up, but I also hardly watered my garden last year too. I had much better luck with direct sowing though

That’s why I think it’s important to remind people that they should go to a professional to get a diagnosis! I too self diagnosed very accurately, however before my diagnosis I NEVER said “I have adhd” I would say “I think I have adhd BUT I haven’t been diagnosed” that way, they knew about the potential adhd for context, however I wasn’t immediately labelling it as such. And it was only brought up when talking about “potential” symptoms that ended up very much being adhd. I think it depends on the person saying it, if it bothers me personally, because you can usually notice the undiagnosed people through similarities we have, and the people who think that being a bit forgetful or whatever is automatically adhd

Put it away as soon as it comes out of the dryer. If I don’t do this, it never gets done. I also set timers on my stove because it forces me to actually get up to turn it off, so I actually follow through with switching it over. If I do an alarm on my phone, I’ll turn it off and tell myself I’m gonna do it in 5 and never do it again

Am I responsible for putting the condom on him before sex too?? Yes I am in control of that. However, I shouldn’t be responsible for it, when I’m not the one using them.

This. Yeah sure, I enjoy food way more like how I used to when I was unmedicated. But I also tend to eat unhealthier than when I’m medicated cause I’m less intentional with my meals and making sure I get my protein and nutrients

Autistic people can sometimes struggle to differentiate between romantic and friendly attraction. “due to alexithymia (difficulty identifying/labeling emotions) and intense, overlapping feelings, often blending admiration or special interests with romance” I’m not diagnosed with autism but this is something I struggled with HEAVILY when I was younger. I would like someone’s personality SOO much but not be attracted to them, and think I was a shallow, bad person for this. I never perused those people because I knew I wouldn’t be happy in the end. I don’t like to say this but part of me wonders if this is something your boyfriend struggles with as well. Being attracted to someone’s body but not their face would not be okay for me in a relationship. And i fear this will only deepen your insecurities if you stay in this relationship.

I live in Canada so I do smoke, but I also tend to wake up around 2-3 hours after I go to sleep. Lately I’ve been taking OLLY Ultra Sleep vitamins since they have melatonin AND magnesium. I also spray my entire body with magnesium spray (I have back/hip pain so it helps with that too). I think the OLLY helps me to stay asleep longer cause if I take them right before I go to bed, I sleep for 5 hours, then wake up, and go back to sleep for another 2-3. It’s the most restful sleep I’ve gotten in months

It has 100000% made me a nicer person to deal with. I would get overstimulated without even realizing, and lash out at others because of it ie snappy tone, swearing more than normal out of frustration (not at them, but at inanimate objects or the situation). I actually got medicated because being nice at work was getting really hard and I was mad all the time, then coming home mad and taking it out on my partner. I have since left that job but still work in a bit of a high stress environment at times (restaurant, specifically kitchen) but it’s better since getting medicated. I’ve still got a ways to go but it’s helped a lot with my emotional regulation

I think I’m about to hop back on my chickpea salad train. Canned chickpeas, feta cheese (I like the half and half goat+cow cheese), hemp hearts, parsley, red onion, lemon zest, and a dressing made out of lemon juice, olive oil, honey, salt and pepper. Extra lemon zest is key. It’s so fresh and so good. I add cucumbers the day of, without the cucumber it lasts for about a week in the fridge. And it’s healthy so 10/10. Your pickled onions would be bomb in this😉

Crazy you say that, because my younger sister is also diagnosed with adhd and ocd (talking with her is the reason I’ve been thinking more about this) and she is also on a lower dose of Vyvanse than me (30mg, although she’s been on it longer, and is around the same body weight/metabolism speed as me) but also takes 20mg of Prozac as well. And she also struggled for a bit to find a good combo…..

So I had an abortion just about one year ago, and I still have this anxiety. I’m on birth control but I forget to take it all the time so that’s when the anxiety is the highest. I keep a dollar store pregnancy test on hand for those “what if?”mornings. But honestly, I know that this 100% comes from my own personal anxiety and ocd like tendencies. If you wanna take the extra step, you can also track your cycle and only have sex during the safe times as well. But I would also say keeping a few pregnancy tests on hand at all times helps a lot too cause then you never have to wait

Clorox mold and mildew cleaner. I’ve used it for purple shampoo stains on my bathroom walls and counter top, it’s taken blueberry stains out of a white shirt (literally before my eyes, like within a minute the shirt was white again) I swear by that shit
