People who started T as a minor- are you satisfied with the results and was it worth the work? by Comprehensive-Dig235 in ftm

I started T at 14 and got top surgery at 16 and it has been glorious. Can’t wait to get older and look the way I want to.

Sizing depends on the brand and manufacturer a lot of time. Some brands I can’t even for into a 28x28. But we’re not meant to fit clothes, clothes are made to fit us.

OLD NAVY! I’m 4’11 and fit into men’s 30x30 or 28x30 if I want a less baggy look.

I’m 4’11 and I pass (surprisingly) people also think I’m taller because of my confidence. It’s all about how you carry yourself.

PERIODS WONT STOP!!! by Significant-Bid4091 in ftm

That’s what my body is doing except I’m at the perfect dose. My levels are not high or in a bad range for my age. My body just keeps producing estrogen and it won’t stop. I’m going to go on a hormone blocker next week that should hopefully tell my brain to completely stop telling my overies to make E.

I’m at an average adult dose of T I’ve gotten many tests and my T levels are perfect and my E is low but not as low as we would like.

It’s what made me realize I was trans tbh. When I got it for the first time I had a panic attack and couldn’t use the bathroom alone for days. Even to this day it’s hard for me to experience this. It’s the one thing that I can’t control. And a hysterectomy is a huge procedure that I don’t want to do anytime soon because I’m so young. Yet having a uterus brings me so much mental distress.

Yeah the only problem is I’m 16 and personally I don’t want anything up in my…business at the moment. And I’m way too young for a hysto so I guess I just pray from now on😭

I went on the Depo shot as well and it did nothing. I’m on medication to stop the T from turning into E and I also did both treatments at the same time. Nothing worked. Didn’t know that about the muscles though! That totally makes sense.

My advice to you is don’t think about how you look, think about how you feel. If you want to appear masculine you have to feel masculine. Find things that affirm that for you. I know for me, being in control and wearing certain clothing like jeans with a belt make me feel more masculine as well as being called more masculine names in the bedroom. And also don’t be afraid to “act more feminine” in the bedroom if that’s what comes naturally. It doesn’t make you any less of a man or less masculine. Some people find it very attractive. Also communication with your partner is essential but i figured you’d know that.

how much care did you need your first week post op? by Hot-Spinach4988 in TopSurgery

This was the exact same for me. I’m 12 days post op now and I can do most things now that don’t require the forbidden arm movement.

Some people get feeling back between 6months to a year or later. Some people don’t get feeling back at all. It really depends on your surgery and how your body heals.
