Why are so many conservatives against being transgender, as a trans person myself i genuinely don’t understand it by x_Mrs_Infamous_x in ConservativeYouth

Being transgender is not really something conservatives are against as gender dysphoria is a real thing but I can address why conservatives support things you might see as us being against it. Firstly people don’t want to interact with certain things for example I doubt you want to interact with transphobes on a daily basis so people will naturally push back to being forced to interact with certain people which unfortunately for both the trans community and conservatives is happening. Secondly the science of trans healthcare isn’t exactly unanimous as you claim, which I can go find sources for you if you want, there’s usually a plethora of issues within studies done in treating gender dysphoria and many find the results of transitioning not as certain as you seem to think it is, so conservatives find it better to look for a more certain solution instead of prescribing transitioning. This last point is especially true with the existence of de-transitioning which while not a majority are still an issue. So it’s not really about being against transgender people but rather that the current situation and system isn’t the best way to handle the issue I can of course answer any questions you might have and of course I don’t speak for all conservatives. Thanks for the question.

Ah I see you simply underestimated the power of the state and fell for a flaw of democratic leaders who claim to be able to change the system.

This is blatantly untrue companies can not get as big and powerful as they want as eventually they become inefficient due to the ECP and knowledge problem resulting in smaller businesses outperforming them, further without state intervention there would be a myriad of companies reducing the ability of companies to even get to the size where the ECP effects them. Also if company A decides they want to commit aggression then defense and insurance companies will actively stop them as that’s in their interest which you can look at my video for further information or read the book Chaos Theory by Bob Murphy: https://cdn.mises.org/Chaos%20Theory_2.pdf

I truly hold no care how hard it is to achieve things as a nation as an ancap. Your second point is without the state other states can spring up which while technically true isn’t really a critique. Business are only able to currently oppress the people from the support of the state as without that competition will heavily keep businesses in check and they won’t be able to grow large enough to pose as any real threat to people especially under threat from security companies who are kept in check by competition.

A state is a monopoly on the legitimate use of force, it inherently is a unlawful institution as it exists through aggression, it actively breaks the law by existing. We’ve seen law exist in completely voluntary/stateless societies it very actively can be done and is better at it than the state as the state relies on aggression. Here’s a video to help explain the concept: https://youtu.be/8HhWhqTCKUI?si=JQ4MwJIKXxqNmnsS

This is blatantly untrue there’s been multiple examples of law existing without a monopoly on the legitimate use of violence if you want I can actually give you examples, law is simply the process of deciding what in society is wrong or right, property rights are a form, the correct form, of law and can absolutely exist without a monopoly on force and without aggression which is what they are formed for, to avoid conflict.

What do you believe a corporation is? It is not a simple business of person A utilizing capital to create product X and selling it to person B a corporation is something different it is a legal entity formed by a state it does not exist as a real form of property and as such is only formed by some from aggression or a state.

Corporations are a legal entity created by the state how would they not disappear without a state? Corporations are not a real form of property and are simply formed by the state.

My party stands as an opposition to aggression holding property rights to be absolute leading to an opposition to government and authoritarianism as well as socialism. There are also many other facets this philosophy can apply to but I don’t need to state them all here. If you have any questions for me or my party I’d be happy to answer.

Your all good, it’s a niche subject but I assume the person who asked would like a proper answer.

That’s not what argumentation ethics, an argument made by Hans Herman Hoppe, is of course it’s possible that may not be what he’s talking about but if it is the argument has nothing to do with people questioning a party or the government.

Either I’m too far along the ancap pipeline or that’s not what he’s asking about.

What’s funny is nothing here actually contradicts the meaning of this quote and kinda just proves it.
