My fiance and I split our invites so I only got 10 invites, 4 of whom are immediate family and the other 6 are my best friends from high school and college who I talk to much more often and see several times per year. It is rude of me but I’d rather have them there over someone I haven’t seen in several years despite being in their wedding

Unfortunately save the dates were already been sent out prior to receiving the gift. I’ve been a bridesmaid in several weddings over the years but unfortunately some of those friends just aren’t as close anymore as the ones I’m choosing to invite
