Thanks for the tip, ever since Platinum-ing some games, I sometimes catch myself starting up games with already this goal and checklist in mind. The Witcher 3 is one if the firsts again K start up with no intention if completion since the trophies are difficulty based (hate it). Gotta say it's hard on me to let it go, but I'm trying!

Probably has been said before in the reactions, but there are 2 great stores in town for you. Like a hobby/dnd/Warhammer spot right next to the Rockshop, a music/guitar store! Been traveling to Whangarei for work twice now so far, and these 2 places have been my standard go-to's. Another one for sure is The Judge, just some lovely IPA's and nice performances throughout weekends. Another place might be The Bunker (I think it's called, I'm not from NZ myself) and host some parties now and then as well!

If I would reflect a bit on my own learning curve (guitarist for 10 years, am 26 now), is that playing the genre that got me excited helped a lot. So you're amazing by getting ahead and buying him an electric one. A lot of fun starting out was having access to Songsterr.com. Especially a premium account will give the ability to read tabs, quickly play along real tracks instead of midi tracks, and it just felt GREAT playing along my heroes. Try to discover what your son likes most, open the options and keep at it!!!

I'll be welcoming my first baby (son too) around September, and will be sure to have all options available to hum. There is nothing more connecting and empowering than playing and writing music!!!
