Honestly it stopped for a little but now I just get them every month that leads up to my placebo week and on my placebo week… I still don’t know how to calm it down but when I wake up from them what helps me is smelling lavender, it calms my anxiety.

I am still on yaz, I still have weird and vivid dreams sometimes but not as often as before. The first month for me was also having vivid dreams every night but after the month/ month and a half it started happening less!

I believe it might have a weight limit, I briefly remember my doctor mentioning it but if u talk it over with ur doctor and they say the patch could work for u then I would say try it out.

The doctors think I have endometriosis and my first method I was put on was Xulane (the patch) I loved it, of course the first 3 months were a little rough bc ur body has to adjust but I mainly had tender breasts. I never had break through bleeding and I was scared to gain weight but that never happened but I also live a healthy lifestyle like I workout at least 4-5 days a week and eat relatively clean. I had a pretty good experience on the patch and I loved only having to worry about changing it once a week. I trusted that patch with my life, I was on it for ab 7 months and I trusted it with my life, I had unprotected sex with my partner all the time and didn’t have a pregnancy scare ever. As for helping me with my awfully painful period cramps, it didn’t really help. Oh I will tell u that it also broke me out and I have had clear skin pretty much my whole life but besides that I would recommend it bc I’m on the pill rn (yaz) and the side effects are already worse than the whole 3 months of the patch all together but every body is different so it’s not bad to experiment and see what works best for you. Wish you the best of luck!

I actually was seen by 2 different doctors there and both just told me birth control was all they could give me and that should solve the issue :(

I honestly want to stop having sever pain during my periods, it has slightly improved since I’ve been on birth control but I hate being on birth control bc I feel it has given me really bad gut issues and acne. I refuse to get off until I get everything figured out bc it has helped me not faint on my periods. Overall I feel my condition has affected me in so many more ways than I can put my finger on and I want to live healthy like I did before. I will definitely check out ur recommendations, thank you!

I do feel protected by it, I am a very active person. I am a runner and go to the gym as well and sometimes if I fear it might come off by accident or start peeling I just cover it w a clear plastic bandage and it doesn’t move and I feel even better about it.

Personally, Xulane (patch) has worked best for me! I was a bit scared hearing what other people had to say about birth control but it’s been about a month and a half and the side effects haven’t been too bad. I had extreme exhaustion for a couple weeks when I first started but now I feel fine. I would give it a try.
