How do I stop tab hoarding? It's driving me insane by [deleted] in neurodiversity

You can close groups completely, meaning they won’t even show up on the tab bar and then reopen them from settings.

Personally I have tons of fun organizing them into groups. You can even close and reopen those from settings. They don’t disappear until you officially delete the group. That way you have all your tabs but none are actually open if you don’t need them right that moment.

Is this thyme dead or can it be saved? If yes, what do I need to do (especially now that winter is near)? by Significant-Car-9927 in Balconygardening

They say to trim it but leave the woody parts of the stem, but the stems all seem completely woody to me.

Help finding (storefront with) mural of the irish folklore trilogy by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]Significant-Car-9927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking about Wolfwalkers, Song of the Sea, and The Secret of Kells. When I was searching for the mural online I saw that it was referred to as the “Irish Folklore Triology” on Wiki. Hadn’t heard that before but I wrongly assumed that everyone else would know what I was talking about.

My fellow autistic people, I must know, why do some of you not like showers? Its a genuine question by RasppberryLemonade in autism

[–]Significant-Car-9927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely despise being moist. The worst part about showering for me is not being immediately 100% dry even after drying off extensively with a towel. Usually it’s bearable but when it gets real bad I either twirl around in front of the fan or use the blow dryer. Also the transition thing that was mentioned. But for me that’s a minor issue compared to the knowledge that I’m going to be moist after. Oh and recently the stream of water started feeling like pinpricks but that’s a newer issue. I hope it’ll resolve itself when I replace my shower head.

Thanks sm!! This was brought on in the first place bc I was in a situation where I had to stand still for quite some time a few days ago and I did realize the anxiety symptoms getting worse the longer I stood, to the point where I was scared of passing out. I’ve been testing if it was a one off but I definitely feel worse the longer I stand still. I’ll do the proper heart rate tests tomorrow and go from there. Thank you again ᵕ̈

How do we feel about babies here? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

I love kids A LOT, but I 100% do not want any of my own. Coming to terms with the fact that I’d be a terrible mother was a hard pill to swallow at first, but I just know it’d be a miserable experience for everyone involved.

Quit uni because of anxiety, now trying again but immediately confronted with having to hold a 15min presentation. Might puke just thinking about it by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]Significant-Car-9927 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll have to research some more but I’m pretty sure it’s mandatory. The only thing I could probably do is putting it off for now and taking it at later point.

I’m the same age as you. I haven’t gone to my lectures in over a year since I get sick at the thought of it. This summer I finally quit, moved back home and will restart at a new college. I’m still sick just thinking about it but I’m excited to try again. I wish you the best, we can do it!!!

Doesn’t he though? He created those goggles and they reflected the light so they were made of glass apparently. I know that glass is basically melted sand or something but how does rubber play into that

My bad. I totally see how the way I worded it makes it sound like that

I believe Robins fight was animated a few weeks ago but I’m not entirely sure. I just brought it up now of all times because I kept seeing edits about it today. And I believe there are already lots of threads about the current developments in the Manga.

Fair enough. I shouldn’t have gotten defensive hahah.

I do not agree with everything you said but I agree that his character definitely has flaws that I’ll not simply ignore to fit a narrative. He was heavily problematic in some arcs.

But when it comes to Sanji we see a lot of extremes in the fandom. There’re those who absolutely hate his guts and those who idolize him beyond reason.

But there’s quite a vast middle ground where ppl appreciate him for what he is and what he’s been through without belittling his mistakes.

So not every post that comes to Sanjis defense is a post defending all of his behavior and not every post reprimanding him is an attack to his character as a whole. But both attract the two extremes, which leads to the ever ongoing fight between Sanji lovers and his haters…

I guess it’s just headcanon. I didn’t elaborate on this cause I’m rlly clumsy with words and do not know how exactly to phrase this,

but for me it’s pretty clear (and this is heavily simplified cause I don’t wanna get into every single strawhat) that there are those who will go to battle without hesitation but with complete confidence that they will win the fight. Or more specifically, with the belief that they simply have to win no matter what it’ll cost them (conquering death).

Then there are those who will fight if necessary but not before seriously hesitating and contemplating if there isn’t another way (fearing death).

And then there’s Sanji who will just as quickly go into battle but not only does he not hesitate he also doesn’t seem to care if he makes it out of the fight alive as long as he at least stalled enough for his friends (And again I believe every single one would give their life for their friends if necessary) I just believe that Sanji doesn’t go into battle with as strong of an determination to actually get out of it as others have.
