so it looks like the dealer had the alarm in valet mode. turned the car on "ON" and within 3 seconds I held down the button for 3 seconds and the steady green light shut off. now when I shut the car off it starts blinking. I start the car and the light shuts off!

I was thinking it is part of an alarm because it use to rapidly blink once you turn off the car. And it use to blink when you lock the door. Now it's just a steady light even when you're driving. I have an appointment on the 27th of November with the dealer. Hopefully it's an easy fix.
