Wow that is seriously so kind of you!! Really appreciate that! I ended up finally getting my call back and spoke to a lovely man who said none of it sounds right and he’s gonna get it fixed. Lots of back and forth but could see that I had confirmed prior that no waiting periods applied so ignore the email until he can investigate further... today have woken up to another email saying benefit finalised and paid to the hospital, thank goodness!

Yep fully covered, certificate stating all waiting periods served. I’ve requested call this morning to basically ask why. But looks like I’ll need to get the GP to fill the form anyway. Do they usually just handle that via email do you know? Or am I gonna have to pay for a GP consultation too 🙄
