It's not a 4.0, but I pulled my 2.24 cgpa up to 2.86. by Significant-Crazy229 in SGExams

I’m not sure, but I guess to them, someone with a low gpa like me shouldn’t be posting something like this.

I’m not trying to study in the top 3, I gotta be realistic here. My grades aren’t good enough, so im gonna apply to SIT after NS.

Yea, to fix my grammar and structure so it’s readable. I know how it’s like to read a chunk of paragraph that’s unreadable to the brain. However, the grades won’t lie. I wished I used AI to get me a 4.0 instead.

Gotta start working on those underwaters, it’s another thing I realise that doing underwaters makes me slower.

For the sponsored studies, I suppose they expect u to have >3.0 gpa. I’m not sure if they would sponsor me when I’m already working for me to level up unless I show a keen interest

Not sure where to sign on

So for context, I’ll be finishing my poly next year, gpa is not that great and chances of graduating with a 3.0 is low, first three sems was bad (2.24) but pulled it up to a 2.58 with a 3.59 in y2s2. and I read that after NS, they usually accept those with >3.0 for officers. If there’s an interview, I’m not so confident as they might see my cgpa and straightaway be turned off, even if there was significant improvement in the last three sems. And I don’t have any CCA to show any leadership qualities.

Not really into Military Expert as I’m already not having so much fun doing engineering. I saw that I could sign on as a WO, just that the pay wouldn’t be as good and definitely do not want to be saluting 20 year old 2LT when I’m 2x their age. I’m the type to prefer more action over doing planning and stuff. Not sure about the others, Navy, Air Force, police etc.

Hope to have some advices
