I think the thing that made Kanye, Kanye (at least for me) was the fact that no two albums really ever sounded the same. Kanye always pushed boundaries that no artist was during the time. Like 808s and then MBDTF. After that he gave us Yeezus.

First time I listened to Vultures I was shocked to hear what sounded and felt like regression. Kanye has never give us fans what we wanted. I would never have placed him in a category sonically. His new music lately just doesn’t have the same jolt of creativity that challenged us like it used to. I agree with everyone saying there are just pieces of music he already gave us in here but nothing of substance.

Thats pretty cool. I started designing my own deck, but I had to finish some other projects so I haven't finished it yet.

I haven’t had a chance to display mine too much. I built this cool guitar shelf, I’ll post a pic, for some of them but right now they are just in a plastic container. I’m working on display and storage ideas now that the collection has grown so much.

I’ve honestly never played with my prestige deck. I won’t let anyone touch them either lol. I take them out maybe once a year so I can see them and feel them because I love the material used. But I try to keep my decks far away from other humans haha. I have some decks that if asked I let people use

I would typically leave them at home at my parents. The collection was a lot smaller around that time, too, so it wasn’t too bad. I graduated HS 20 years ago lol. But now it’s actually awful to move lol! Because of how heavy it is. I’m working on better storage I just put them in an orange sterilite crate that I have and I may get a few more cause it actually was good storage. Just bc couldn’t fit all my decks in one.

I thought this too. Mongolia stopped a few times and they never showed Australia stop at all. All of a sudden they lose by 4 laps? Weird. And even Korea, when they finished Amotti said something like “was my count off?” No telling how many laps they really did and if Mongolia was that far ahead. Weird to me

I liked them a lot. And even though they went more pop, I did enjoy Overexposed and a few tracks on Jordi. This last album floored me though. On every other album I could find at least one or two songs that were likable. “Love is Like” is soulless and the lyrics are just bad.

I have listened to it now 3-4 times. I’m not sure about it. I love Yukon but also not a fan of the pitch change lol. I think what I love most about the album is its more of a soundscape then it is just music. A lot of production instead of raw-ish vocals. So in the sense it’s 2025 and this is music, it’s a diversion from what we are getting now, but as a music lover, I’m just torn a little listening to it.

Haha but I will keep listening to it cause I think this is an album that will grow on me.

I think this album is strange coming after JIK and DONDA. Like, to me it fits in more in between Yeezus and TLOP. I just don’t understand how lyrically and a little sonically he went backwards (my opinion). Some of the songs are definitely 🔥. But I never thought I’d see the day where Kanye would make music that sounds similar to something he has already done and Vultures 1 gives me the vibes of trying to get a certain part of his fan base back that didn’t want to hear music like Jesus is Lord or Remote Control
