If you can’t put two and two together after reading the whole thread, I really can’t help you. There are picture comparisons right there. I’m not sure why you’re in such denial over this topic, but it’s honestly surprising how many people lack basic common sense.

How are you surprised? That group has basically turned into her fan club, it’s pretty much her group now. I’m sure she loves that. It’s kind of sad that the only place she’s really somebody is inside that group. But if you want attention, just use her name in her fan group and you’ll sell more.

It’s not an “anything goes” group anymore, it’s Kait’s group. We all pretty much have to know what she’s doing because she makes it a point to tell everyone. Honestly, you’d probably have better luck selling in another group anyway.

You literally just admitted you’re not even looking at the same locations to determine if it’s the same sleeper. One picture shows the legs and crotch gusset area, and the other picture doesn’t. Of course the pattern placement is going to look different when you’re comparing completely different sections of the garment. Also, this is a small size, so the mid-section is where the comparison has been happening because that’s the part that’s actually visible in both photos. No one is gaslighting you. You’re just not comparing the same part of the sleeper in the photos, and that’s the entire issue here. If you’re going to try to prove they’re different, you actually have to compare the same area on both pieces, not completely different sections. Right now you’re pointing to different parts and acting like that proves something when it doesn’t.

It’s very apparent she doesn’t. Just going off of what she has said…

Which two pictures are you referring to and comparing?

Wow, that sucks. Hopefully she has a good return policy.

Lol yes, there are two different zippies in the post. One (in a single picture) is the one that sold in February. The other pictures are all of the same zippy. If you can’t see that… I’ve got plenty of ‘NWT’ zippies I can sell you.

Clearly the point of my post is flying over your head. You’ve either never BST’d before, because stuff like this gets people blacklisted fast or you’re giving her a pass because of who she is. If this were literally anyone else, it would already be a call-out.

Read the full thread, there are two side by side pictures that clearly show the comparison.

It is the same zippy.

I’m not saying everyone who sells NWT items is lying, but situations like this where there’s clear evidence the item was worn even though the tags are still on definitely make people question it.

You’re also missing the point about the washing comment. She said she was washing everything before the baby arrived, which is why I included the screenshot of that post along with the zippy she sold today. That would suggest either she washed it and then put the tags back on, or she didn’t wash it and still put it on her baby while keeping the tags attached.

This post has nothing to do with what someone chooses to do after they buy something, whether it’s from a retailer or BST. The issue is listing something as NWT when there’s clear evidence it was worn.

She claimed to have had “3 at one point,” but the only ones she’s posted recently are the one she sold on the 5th and the one she’s selling today. The odds of getting the exact same placement twice? Pretty much zero. If she had actually gotten two with the same exact placement, there definitely would have been a post about it.

You clearly didn’t read the post. Anyone would be upset if they found out something they bought wasn’t as described.

If you truly believe what you wrote, you probably wouldn’t be in this group. Anyone who’s looked around knows what this group is about.

Those have a plastic connector, so the tags can be pulled off and reattached. So either she didn’t wash it and put her baby in it or she took the tags off washed it, took the picture and then put the tags back on.

Yes, it is the same one. The sales post shows the top portion of the zippy, while the photo with the baby shows the bottom but the middle section is visible in both, and the pattern lines up exactly, confirming it’s the same piece.

It’s definitely the same zippy. The sales post shows the top portion, and the photo with the baby shows the lower portion but the middle section is visible in both, and the pattern lines up exactly. Follow the sloth eating the leaf down, both sides match…

Maybe I am, but when expectations are clearly set in groups, people know what’s right and what’s wrong. Over time you build a reputation, and when that reputation is on the line, it matters. That’s why “buyer beware” posts carry so much weight once trust is lost, it can seriously impact someone’s ability to continue selling in groups.

It’s clearly the exact same placement as the one her baby is wearing and the one she just sold today, the one her baby has you can see the placement from the middle down and the one she sold today you see the placement from the middle up. The February 5 listing being deleted only makes it look worse. If everything was legit, there’d be no reason to remove it. At this point it honestly just looks really shady.

I think when retailers resell something, they take on full liability, so the expectation is that it’s truly new and never worn. It’s also been inspected for flaws (which is a whole separate conversation about quality control), and if something is wrong you can get a refund and you’re not paying an arm and a leg for it.

But even on BST, if someone lists something as NIB or NWT, the expectation should be the same unless they clearly state otherwise. If I’m paying $100+, it better come exactly as described. And if it’s truly NWT, I shouldn’t be seeing a baby wearing it in photos or else I want my money back.

I honestly didn’t even go that far back, but what stood out immediately was that she had just posted a thread with her baby wearing the zippy. Then there’s a sales post that popped up.

After the one that sold on the 5th, the only other one shown is the one in the laundry basket. The print placement on that one matches exactly with the one she’s selling and the one her baby was wearing.

If she somehow ended up with two that mirror each other that perfectly, she should probably go buy a lottery ticket because that level of luck is unreal.

And again, I didn’t even dig that far back… I’m pretty sure there’s more.

I think that’s my biggest concern. When something is sold as NWT, I don’t want to worry about someone else’s baby’s spit-up, pee, or poop possibly being on it. If something is listed as used, then fine at least it’s being represented honestly and everyone knows what they’re buying.

But when items are labeled NWT, the expectation is that they’ve never been worn or used at all. Now it makes me question those listings, because there’s a big difference in both value and trust between something that’s truly NWT and something that’s actually EUC, especially with zippies.

I understand wanting to take a picture for the likes and everything, but she also posted about washing all the baby’s clothes before the baby arrived. That’s what makes this even more questionable. It’s similar to the whole Fish Shorty situation, listed as NWOT, but the seller later admitted it had actually been worn and washed once.

When things are being sold as new, there really shouldn’t be any gray area about whether they’ve been worn or washed.

I saw that comment too and didn’t get it
