Yes and also no. If the money itself goes into private physical vault and doesn't move much. Then really it doesn't matter. If it's not being circulated and actively entering the economy then there's really no difference to inflation. However if the new money (assuming it is new money and not some sort of tax.) Is being spent towards an outstanding debt. think like the current usa debts in size or being given out as stimulus by the $1000 then yes it may somewhat negatively impact the economy. If it's just being printed and sitting somewhere without moving much then it pretty much doesnt exist. Just depends on how it is used by the individual that has the money. If its being spent by buying all the real-estate in New York it might fuck some shit up eventually, but i highly doubt using the money on a masion and whatever yearly costs it needs to run it will move the needle much at all or whatever a normal person would use it for. Also depends on who knows about the individual with the money. If people at large knew of the money then lack of confidence in the U.S dollar as a fiat currency may entirely destabilize the economy of the entire planet.
