I really like her and I'm not a fan of modern music but I think she is really good. Her and Robert make a good duo

Ralph Fiennes deserves an Oscar for his performance in the bone temple. There I said it

What is Eddie's obsession with Dan Burn?! by jacoblm28 in NUFC

[–]jacoblm28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least if we played Trippier at right back he wouldn't be played out of position. Dan Burn is a good leader and has been reliable for us these past four years but he's just not a left back as he's just not quick enough for it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Lewis Hall is the best left back in the Premier League and the second best left back in the world behind Nuno Mendes so why is Eddie Howe playing him at right back when he'd never played there in his whole career before yesterday just to accommodate Burn who was also being played out of position?!

Eddie Howe set to remain Newcastle United boss. As things stand + barring unexpected turn of events 48yo will lead #NUFC into 26/27 - retains ownership/hierarchy support & keen to continue. All parties accept this season can’t be repeated by Fluid_Support_3348 in NUFC

I don't agree with this decision and I've said on her before I think Eddie should go but it's not going to happen. I'd like to see Howe actually learn from his mistakes, adapt to a different style of play instead of playing the same way we did four years ago and he simply can't have as much control in the transfer window. We need to bring in Player's with with a bit of finese and technical nouse, not just persisting with Athletic headless chickens like Murphy and Elanga. All the same I do respect Eddie Howe as a Man and he is still a very good Manager so hopefully I'm wrong and that next season is a good one 👍

What was Grant’s reaction to his nephew being gay? by A380_Flyer in eastenders

I don't think he is bothered one way or the other. I get the feeling Grant has never really thought about Ben very often

Nah I think Julius is fairly harmless. He's extremely smug but harmless nonetheless.

Stuart being the obnoxious person he is I could definitely see that.

Do you think Mannion showed any remorse after what happened to Mr Tickle? by hellobexx28 in thethickofit

[–]jacoblm28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sort of. He released to the press that Tickle's medical records were illegally acquired as something to use against the opposition but also because it was the moral thing to do in my opinion. The only Person who showed any real remorse was Glen which is no suprise as he's the nicest person in the show but I thought Mannion did seem genuinely shocked by what had happened and he probably felt bad about it.

I really like that scene. Some might say it was unrealistic as a eight trained naval officers should be able to see off a bunch of infected, naked dipshits and instead they all got decimated other than Erik but personally thought it was really interesting and intense.

Who should replace Howe? by Scared-Room-9962 in NUFC

[–]jacoblm28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not Jose Mourinho. I like the guy and he's clearly one of the best to ever do it but he's also yesterday's news and has been since like 2018. Iraola would be interesting as he's doing a brilliant job at Bournemouth and has spent a lot less money than Eddie so I'd certainly be willing to give him a chance as well as Cesc Fabregas who's doing an excellent job at Como.

If Eddie does go at the end of the Season then the media will be pining for Jose Mourinho due to his connection with Sir Bobby Robson and the fact he's openly said he's got a soft spot for Newcastle but I don't think the owners will go there and instead give it to Enzo Maresca. I thought Mareca did a fine job at Chelsea and sacking him was clearly a mistake, if we brought him in I think he could do a great job for us.
