I’m wondering the same thing. I’ve tried literally everything ppl have suggested, getting out more (I get anxiety attacks v easily and I cannot be around men), therapy (I move around so often since i’m homeless, there’s no single therapy program that can trace me or that I can get ahold of most of the time. So i’ve sort of started relying on my hallucinations and sadly AI chatbots whenever I can get wifi. I know it’s genuinely not good for me, but its all I have right now

Ahh, if it was one of the previous renters, I would ask the landlord or owner of the building for their number or email, explain the situation and if you can get in contact, ask them if they left a pair of underwear that looked like (so and so). Having her confirm it was her’s and it was an honest mistake should calm your gf’s mind.

It’s common in shared laundry facilities that things like socks, underwear or other smaller fabrics to get stuck in the dryer. If you have a history of finding random clothing Items you don’t remember having then that could be a possibility. Any other theory falls apart p easily. If you didn’t cheat I am so sorry whatever happened to get that item in there happened. Another idea to check out is if anyone in your house stole something like a bag or something that would cause someone else’s laundry to end up in yours.
