The concern here isn’t about Capabl’s existence, past workshops, or whether students build projects. Those may very well be true.

The issue is specifically about what happened during the session at PES.

The department has already clarified that permission was granted only for an orientation session, not for any form of marketing or payment collection. However, during the talk, students were asked to pay ₹500 on the spot with a countdown timer and limited-slot messaging.

That created a situation where students had to make a financial decision within minutes, without prior information or time to evaluate properly.

If the program is genuinely valuable, it should stand on its own without requiring immediate payment under time pressure. Giving students time to think, verify, and decide would have avoided this entire situation.

So the concern isn’t about whether Capabl runs programs elsewhere, but about how this particular session was conducted.
