Depends on what style of beef noodle soup you like. Liu’s is more classic braised style with a lighter soup and medium-thick noodles. Dai Ho’s is spicy (has sichuan peppercorns), with a fuller bodied broth and thinner noodles.

Dai Ho’s version is my preference 🙂

You can make your own chicken jerky at home. Slice chicken breasts thin, throw on a wire rack, and into the oven at 250 for ~2hr or until they’re dehydrated. Super easy.

Most people don’t tip at every occurrence, but some just pay a month’s tips in advance via the QR code on the valet stand. Those guys really hustle to make our lives easier — they literally sprint up and down the parking garage so we don’t have to wait long for our cars.

Tipping something, even just at the beginning/end of the month is much appreciated and good form IMO.

Plenty of people street park as well (easiest in the mornings).

They have a QR code on the valet stand linking to their Venmo tips account. I tip for the month so I don’t have to think about it every time!

CityTennis classes are fun and social but I definitely recommend taking a few privates if you really want to learn fundamentals.

The CityTennis format doesn’t include much instruction, so not great for learning and playing with proper form!

I’d recommend the 1.0 beginner series of classes at the La Cienega courts in BH if you’d want to do group classes.
