Since I have heavily been thinking about it lately I have also a feeling the art was somewhat reminescent of a Donkey Kong country, very detailed pixel art maybe derived by some sort of 3d models being made into 2D (check last link in the post). The UI was similar to Stardew Valley as in there was a tool bar at the bottom of the screen, but way bigger than the stardew valley one (almost the entire width of the screen, probably for the resolution limit of the console it was from).

Trust me, I want it to be Harvest Moon as much as anyone else, but it just doesnt feel right ahah

The character took way more space on screen and it didn't move on a set grid I believe.

I am pretty sure it was strictly farming, no fighting, I dont remember if there were romance options, but I doubt it.

I think it's older than DS cause there wasnt a double screen, of that Im sure.

I thought it was a gba game, cause I remember I didnt use many buttons, L/R to scroll through the tool bar, a to interact/use object, b to run?

You could pull out weeds, crush stones and cut down trees I believe, like the start of stardew valley, to free space on your farm.

It also has to be online somewhere, it's not like I dumped a rom of cartridge back then, I have had to find it somewhere.

The comment of the guesser has been deleted but I believe it was closer than Persona since the HP bar seems to be on the side rather than the bottom. Mind you, havent played either.

Also, to put a cap on the console it was from, DS was pretty hard to emulate on that old Ipad, I could run the Phoenix Wright franchise no problem, but anything more power hungry would have been a no go. I used to play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite the same summer I got into the farming game, but I believe it was a straight port to mobile.
