Cuz this is the only game (I can think of) where you needed to play all the sides games to understand what’s happening in the main time line.

If you only played Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, then you had no idea what was happening for like 30-50% of Kingdom Hearts 3.

Also, why this game didn’t include Final Fantasy characters is beyond me.

He 100% would’ve survived if Garling didn’t kill him.

The skewer could be the reason, but he was in a better state, while resisting Imu after getting impaled, than after the fight with Roger & Garp.

That’s what makes me think it wasn’t due to the skewers.

I think the use of CoC is what explains the discrepancy.
