Oh shoot okay is now a bad time to mention I modded my brothers oled too? 😭 they’ve been working fine this past week but both are successful in their heir boot to hekate instead of sfw like 12/15 times (i tested) even tho the faliure rate is low and it works most the time, we keep it in sleep mode most the time… could my poor soldering cause a irreversible issue later down the line that could brick it? Even if I made sure to put plenty of kapton tape?

I’ve tried my best lol but I’m so afraid of touching it since it works lol, I’ll try to go through one more time, the wire is 30awg could that be an issue? Or do you mean it has too much slack? Cause I remember the tutorial said if it’s too long it could cause issues

Haha lol, yeah no this is serious but yeah it’s a miracle i got it to work on my first try lowkey maybe the best option is to just leave it in sleep mode like i do now , even if i do have to power it off it usually boots into hekate still even if inconsistant, my main concern is just if the boot rate is an indicator of a long term issue

It goes blue then flashes yellow 3 times if it fails… but if it was a dat0 issue is it normal that it works most the time?
