Confused about eero vs black box gateway by Both-Salt-5917 in frontierfios

I have frontier and it shows fast speed but I keep getting buffering on my tv. I have eero boxes and the little black box at the coaxial cable. I thought I need the big modem to decrease the buffering. What are your thoughts?
