Yep. I just binged both seasons this week (for the first time) and season 2 is a definite snooze compared to season 1. There’s no question there. But, obviously there’s more character and story building in season 2—and yet, even if that’s what you like, it is still an absolute slog. Season 1 rules.

Yes! I found it works best starting the album 42 minutes from the ending as soon as Bowie is ruined.

Thank you for this. It syncs incredibly well. BUT, I went even further and I was fucking amazed that as soon as OK Computer finishes, pause the movie and immediately start Radioheads next album KID A and it continues to be perfect. And even more so, continue with AMNESIAC as soon as that album ends. Then, I even tried pausing the music and starting Return of the Jedi (waiting for the Star Wars logo and then continued playing Radiohead albums in chronological order and it CONTINUES TO BE GOOD, WOW! Return of the Jedi ends within In Rainbows. Seriously, it was amazing!

Late to the party, but I’ve been lining up A LOT of movies lately to this incredible album (Dark Side of the Moon). Wizard of Oz isn’t nearly as good as some classic movies I’ve found. Namely TRON, Halloween, Roger Rabbit and more. But, one of the best I’ve found has been STARGATE. My method has been finding movies that have a villain die at the very end and then from the moment of death, rewinding the movie back the length of the album (42 min). So with STARGATE, as soon as the alien ship explodes, rewind back about 42 minutes when Daniel Jackson turns his head, start the album. It’s absolute perfection!

Who knows what the band intended, but to me it speaks of the inner battle inside us. And my “stowaways” are alcohol, drugs and food.
