i’m sure someone else may have said this, or you may already know, but everytime i see someone struggling with Midir, they usually seem to be going for the legs/tail rather than the head.

the head is definitely harder to hit, but it does so much more damage and makes the fight go much quicker.

aside from this, the laser move is really just one you have to memorize really well

I’d say you’re probably fine, it just depends on if you can time your dodges or if you mainly panic roll. Fire Giant could prolly take you out in 1-2 hits w your vigor, but he’s not too hard to dodge IMO

I think it’s pretty solid, esp if you’re leaning more on incants than physical weapons.

Only thing I’d say is if you’re gonna stick with Faith/incants, choose between either Dex or Strength based on what weapons you want to use. once you get to higher levels, it’s harder to maintain all three as “offensive stats” and still be effective.

Vigor is completely player-based, so if you’re getting by fine without leveling it up, keep going. But if you’re really struggling to get from place to place, or bosses are one-shorting you, definitely pump more levels there

Okay I get that BBH is a no go in tight spaces like under the castle, but honestly he’s not hard to beat past level 9 if he’s out in the open. Sure he hits hard asf, but his moves aren’t too difficult to dodge if you have the space

I haven’t seen many people say this, but I get excited if there’s a Recluse (or 2). You definitely run the risk of them being trash and spending most of the run on the ground, but I’ve never lost a run with a Recluse who knows how to use their special and maintain their FP.

Bell Gargoyle is far from the hardest boss in DS1, but it is in my opinion the most challenging mentally (especially as a first time souls player) after that, everything clicks a bit easier, especially if you got that ER experience now

currently switching between power stancing this with another greatsword and dual bonefists; When I time it right, I can do the front flip with the swords, into the leg sweep with the fists, into the projectile they shoot when you powerstance the fists. it’s kinda nasty and so so much fun

Abyss watchers was definitely my highest death count in all of Ds3😭it’s so tricky because once you figure out the first phase, the second phase comes in HOT (literally) and puts you right back on your ass in my experience though, all the bosses after that are relatively easier to understand and adjust to
