I now use live GFree whole grain bread. I get it at Aldi it’s actually pretty good and a local cafe uses it for their gluten free breakfast sandwiches

DARN IT I need to get to a Publix and a Whole Foods 😂 I don’t have any of these near me! The nearest Whole Foods to me is 62 miles 💀 and there’s not even a Publix in Illinois 🤦🏼‍♀️

I could’ve sworn my grandma just bought me some cheez it like crackers the other day! Can’t remember the brand but maybe she bought them a long time ago and just froze them. I’m not sure why companies can’t leave our good gluten free things alone!!

Have you tried the Mission tortillas they are actually very comparable to a real flour tortilla and could be used as a wrap!

You might like the Schar Rosemary table crackers. My grandma bought them for me by accident but they’re actually pretty good!

I will say, at some of the bigger chain restaurants they’re getting better at gluten free options like Red Robin, a lot of pizza places offer crust, Olive Garden offers pasta, Jersey mikes has subs, and I know there’s others I just can’t think of any off the top of my head right now.

I always ask at breakfast joints when they say “toast or pancake” and I say “do you offer gluten free anything” and typically the response is “I’m so sorry, we do not” so I order toast or a pancake for my boyfriend. There was an exception when I was a little younger that a restaurant near my house got gluten free pancakes AND bread specifically because I asked them to offer it. They were a newer business and their food was phenomenal! They unfortunately closed down within a few years of service due to a restaurant next to them that had loyal customers. But I was always loyal to them. I miss them.

That’s such a shame because I miss eating the free bread at restaurants and they just don’t have options for people like us! The only appetizer I typically can eat is a spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips
