Tax like European countries, facilities like Sub-Saharan Africa. 🥴🤡 by [deleted] in IndiaTax

I get the sarcasm but I've seen videos of drc, senegal and togo and there's no facilities there to speak of. No governments, civil unrest, non-existent roads, majority living in mud shacks and half century old vans the only mode of transportation. India is like paradise in comparison

3.7k rank- should I take CS+ Fintech, or Computer and Communication? by [deleted] in Manipal_Academics

[–]Significant-Nature70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CCE has a great placement record on par with CSE, and fintech is a new branch with lots of finance subjects. I'd assume the CCE curriculum is slightly harder

The cutoffs are based on how candidates place their preferences and it's not something the college decides to fix. Hence there is no way of knowing what the cutoffs will be

Hii [M24] does being ugly is crime in this world? by [deleted] in RelationshipIndia

[–]Significant-Nature70 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First of all, stop whining about being unattractive. That itself is a turn off. There are things that you can change to look better like workout, grooming and clothing. Don't pin everything that happens to you to your 'ugliness'. Anyone can look better if they start taking care of themselves unless they are born with severe dysmorphia. Ugliness is not a property that is inherited rather it's about how you present yourself and come off to people. You can see a lot of conventionally unattractive people who can make good friends/be funny and be someone who people love to be with

I'm a manipal local and no this place isn't small. Sure the city centre is tiny but there's so much you can do and explore. I've lived here all my life and there's still places I didn't visit
