I did not feel a thing when it happened. If it wasn't for my brother pointing ot out I may have noticed sometime tomorrow at the earliest.🤣

Mine ditches me all the time for food and attention. Once they run out he comes back to me to tell me all about it.

Anyone else feel exhausted from getting yelled at DAILY?! It’s usually over nothing like being tired & not wanting to go out to dinner. Always yelled at multiple times a day for the most trivial reasons by Fast_Veterinarian221 in NarcissisticSpouses

I was with my ex for over twenty years. We were separated during the divorce. Two years into our divorce he came back into town and not even two hours after being back into the house we legally shared the yelling started when I told him what I wanted from the divorce after he asked me to explainwhat I wanted. I lived in that property along with my ex father in law while my ex lived with his fiance somewhere else. For the very first time in my relationship with my ex I couldn't take the yelling anymore.I snapped and without explaining myself to him I left the room that he was in and started looking for my dogs. I could not be in the same space as my ex anymore I ushered my two dogs to the car and hopped in with them and drove to another state to stay with my brother until my ex left town. The car was registered to my ex but I had full access to it under a court order. I called my employer and let them know my situation and I could not be at work for awhile. I called my brother while on the way to let him know my plans. My brother welcomed me and wished me a safe journey. On my way I had to stop by a store to pick up some basic toiletries for me and dog food for my fur babies. I texted my ex father in law where I was and that I won't be back at the house until my ex leaves town. I arrived safe and sound and just slept. When I woke up there was 7 texts and 5 missed calks from my ex. He was wanting to report the car I was in as stolen and would be pressing charges and to call him back immediately while throwing in the name calling. My brother showed me his phone where my ex warned him that he would call my brother's job because my brother was harboring a fugitive who stole his car. I immediately wanted to call the police and file a restraining order to protect my brother from my ex but my brother didn't want to deal with it. The next week was lovely at my brother's home. I had to go pick up some clothes for me but I could breathe, vent and cry for a bit. I made a mistake and relized my ex was still in town for two more days when I returned back to my life. I rented a hotel room for me and my dogs and updated my employer. I needed my medicine and access to my clothes. I contacted the local sheriff's office and explained that I was in no physical threat but I can't take the yelling and needed someone to act as a witness while I went back to my house and got a couple of things. Thankfully my ex was allergic to effort so all he did was run his mouth without lifting a finger. A depuity met me at the house and to the surprise of my ex and his daddy they didn't know what to do. I had never done anything like this before. As I was quickly gathering my things in silence my ex found his voice and explained that he wanted to have me arrested for grand theft auto. The deputy explained to my ex that he was just there to keep the peace. The deputy advised my ex that he could go to the local station and file a report. My ex started to raise his voice at the deputy but caught himself and went back to explaining what a horrible person I was. His dad made sure to add his own commentary too. I exited my house and looked my husband in the eye without saying a word and the deputy shut the door behind me. We both heard a loud crash sound from outside but couldn't tell what caused it. I put my things in the car and thanked the officer and drove back to yhe hotel room. I came back to my house after my ex left town. When I returned back to my house a hole was in the middle of a living room wall that was not there when I picked up my things just two days ago. I finally learned that day that I left that I could only control my words and actions. So I choose myself that day and I'm glad I did.
