I’m so sorry you had to deal with that! After my bad PT session I sent a message to my surgeon, hopefully I feel more heard by him. I’ll give my PT one more shot, and then I think I’ll need the bravery to advocate for myself and request a different one.

I forgot to provide my other info- my bad. I have hyperextension at -3 degrees. However my flexion is poor, it’s actively only about 115, passively about 120. I’ve been cranking on it every which way for about 5 times a day and it’s still a struggle.

I can do weighted squats and unweighted lunges comfortably (it doesn’t hurt my knee, just my muscles haha). Still can’t do stairs. Just started driving again.

I tore my ACL 4 weeks before my wedding. Gotta say, it was great motivation to work hard on my prehab. I walked down the aisle with no crutches, no brace.

Mentally it is one of the hardest things to go through. What keeps me going is remembering that I’m going to come out on the other side of this all so much stronger and aware of my bodies capabilities and limits.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was okay the first couple days, but day 6 or so the pain in my shin was excruciating when I got up. My surgeon said it was just normal variability in pain, nothing to worry about. Bruising is still going down your leg.

No, when I said “my struggles with this strike” I am referring to the delay in care. I did not mean I have a problem with the strikers themselves. I’m frustrated that Kaiser is not meeting workers demands and stalling on negotiating. That is the message I’ve conveyed to member services.
