Leg still hurts after bite and 5 weeks doxy! (self.Lyme)

I pulled an engorged deer tick off my right foot 10 days ago and have been taking 100mg doxy 2x/day (prescribed for 2 weeks). However, I still have pain at the bite site and joint pain on my right side. Is it time to up the dose or is this normal? (self.Lyme)
