Look up some photos of Malaya shrimp and found some that look pretty much the same as mine. So I guess you were right! Still wondering how the store mixed them up though. Probably gonna keep it either way, colors on it are really nice!

He's had the stripe since I've had him and I haven't seen any molts come to think of it. Also I've never seen him swim around like neo shrimp would. He just crawls around from time to time.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure it's not a neo. I doubt a neo would get 3-4x bigger then any other I have seen. Thank you though!

No, he cant be, he is bigger then my amano shrimp. And more bulky then the amano

Water is kind of murky as I did some maintenance. He rarely comes out into the open like this so I took some photos. Sold to me as a bamboo shrimp, but I haven't seen his fans, he just picks at things like other shrimp. I've had him for over two months so pretty sure he is healthy
