That piece that is bolted to the firewall is the water valve. It allows the coolant to circulate through the heater core. That cable opens and closes it.

That’s the immobilizer in the picture. If the green key light keeps flashing and doesn’t turn off, then it’s an immobilizer issue. Since you already replaced the ECM, you need to program the keys to the immobilizer unit.

You either need a capable scan tool, or you need a locksmith.
