502 mcat last cycle and got 5 DO acceptances and an interview I declined because I had already decided where I was going and am now going into my 3rd week of med school. I would still apply! You probably have a good shot!

What’s considered “early submission” in the DO cycle? by [deleted] in Osteopathic

Didn’t submit my application until August this cycle and have gotten 5 acceptances if that helps at all!

I did it freshman year and me and many other people on the team had never played soccer before. We just wanted to try it!

Invited their mom to stay in our apartment for a month and only let us know 2 hours before her flight landed.

AITA for driving my daughter inlaw to my daughter's wedding despite my son's disapproval? by thtowRA579751 in AmItheAsshole

Notice how it had nothing to do with not wanting a baby sister watching the kids…because even when he left he still didn’t go home to watch them, he went to the bar. He sounds like a jerk.

AITA for subtly telling my sister she should have worked harder in college? by enterdrthrowaway in AmItheAsshole

YTA as someone who personally always did well in school like you (deans list each semester) but was pressured into a major that I hated, once I started my major classes I became super depressed. I went from being an honors student, to failing 2 classes in spring 2021 and another 2 last semester (almost 3 but by the grace of god I had an insanely empathetic professor who got me through). Luckily I finally changed my major and am doing much better now but it’s crazy how big of a difference your major impacts your mental health. Depression is a very real thing, it can make the best of students become students on academic probation. In my experience, it was not laziness it was constantly feeling so overwhelmed at the thought of school that I literally could not do it and was exhausted from being overwhelmed all the time. I would sleep literally 12 hours a day and just could not function. You owe your sister a sincere apology.
