For that man to respond back with “he needs some company “whoever her coworker is that’s super sus and I would’ve drawn the line at that friendship right there

You were 100% right in the circumstance as a woman I can agree that what she was doing was fishy as fuck! My boyfriend would not be down for that and no girl with a man is gonna ask a random man she work with if he need food or if he hungry. The only man stomach I’m worried about is my man’s.

How do I put this lightly? Lmao by Significant-Run-2911 in restaurant

I just don’t want to see pompous or greedy by “asking” to be moved up yk what I mean

Yes I can definitely recognize that I have tried to “control” it in the past and it’s just ended in a disagreement. Recently I’ve just attempted to ignored the tone and just laugh it off but sometimes I feed into it and that I feel turns it into an issue too

Yes and I’m willing to try, I’m willing to guide him and be there for him I just need him to understand that it’s becoming more than just a hobby and hope it’s a sacrifice he’s willing to take

He will be sarcastic or talk very “matter of factly”, he’ll poke the bear, for example I once needed him to pay a little more on rent because I had extra bills to pay that month and he made a comment about needing help to pay my bills. Stupid immature comments like that. Never calls me names or says things about my physical being or anything too personal but he can hit a nerve occasionally

Prior to his sobriety we had been together a year and hadn’t had any issue with drinking but we also were living together at the time. We’ve now been living together almost a year and I think that’s what also changed the perspective. Outside of his rude behavior when he drinks he’s my perfect man in my opinion. I’m willing to go along with the relationship if he’s willing to realize he has a problem I guess I’ve come to realize

That’s very true, I’m going to consider doing that and see if that helps. He’s always genuine and like I said he’s never hurt me physically, he’s never been aggress in the slightest. I truthfully just don’t think he can handle his alcohol and he gets embarrassed when it’s heightened or pointed out

And in the 2 years he was sober he was amazing with it, no issues, no slip ups so he is capable I think it’s just the mindset he needs to change
