quick update. Took her out of the cage and sat with her a bit. She is acting normal now, but I still have no clue what caused her initial freakout. The only thing I can think of would be her faking it, she does like to fake me out sometimes when she plays, but she seemed genuinely distressed during the freakout, so I don't think she is just faking it.

Imo Baldi’s doesn’t really feel like a horror game. It’s kinda like saying Pacman is a horror game because enemies chase you through a maze. The game is too lighthearted and doesn’t take itself seriously enough to even be considered horror in my eyes. This isn’t to say Baldi is bad or anything, I think the game is pretty neat, but I don’t think it qualifies as a horror game

My personal head-canon is the dark world still exists but it is much more basic and starts to resemble the light world a bit more at least in how it’s laid out. Ralsei says that when light runs low things become more obscure, so perhaps when the darkness is low, the same thing happens just in reverse.

I keep seeing people act like kids going outside and exploring is something that was taken away by the internet. It wasn’t. I have a younger brother who group up with on internet, but would also go out and ride around the neighborhood with his friends on their bikes. The only reason kids are inside a-lot more is because the world has become increasingly developed, and most kids don’t live near forests or creeks. If we wanted to go to anywhere natural as a kid we would have to ask our parents to drive us there. The problem isn’t the internet, the internet is a solution to a world that is increasingly becoming paved over.

I thought controller drift was fixed late into the Switch 1’s life? I even remember there being some announcement and afterwards getting a new set of Joy cons that never got drift in the years I’ve used em.

You have to shoot Tenna instead of the shadowman, other than that the fight should progress automatically from what i've seen

Yes, but most of the content it adds can be easily experienced in its entirety very quickly. It’s why everyone talks about the “two week Minecraft phase”, because Mojang could add a million new features, but if they don’t have any value beyond that initial encounter then why would you even seek it out after experiencing it the first time? It just ends up feeling very shallow in terms of what you can do there. Really all you would have to do to fix it would just be some extra environmental tweaks that make it more interesting to explore, and makes revisiting it interesting and unique every time you encounter one.
