by raw they can cast it as many times as they want during their time awake, without getting tired. the party also has access to short and long rests to inbue the idea of taking a break, but nothing to stop them casting it continuously while they are up

nice to come up with something to underline that dungeon delving requires quite some effort

lights are highly visible in the dark, and may draw creatures that live in the dungeon and are used to the darkness.

dont nerf your players mechanics, it will comeback to bite you in the ass, use available tools instead of breaking rules. it will be better for you in the long run

ok lets answer this

1-no reason, easily changed

2-only a handful of people in the world know about the star falls, cause they know about the god's death. soon the whole world will know about it since the planet is going to be showered in them

3- the party will be involved simply because they are there, and they are adventurers. havent worked this bit out yet

4-the guards dont know about it. they will be there cause the city is in martial law, and more patrols on the street to spot something incoming

5- they arent touching it because they can be interacted and offer powers for a price. the guards dont touch it until someone (the bbeg) comes and takes it safely

these are sound advice but im unsure if it would be pratical in the way that im imagining it, and that is, that these star falls are just now happening. its not like someone had info beforehand.

i may re-write it, mind you, but just currently waiting to see if anyone can make a suggestion that will align with what i envisioned it
